Re: swimming pool heat pump
No problem I know it's in ºF and american units but it still may help.
here's a hint also your chemicals can be perfect at 70ºF but at 20ºF The pool can be extremely corrosive with the only change being the pool temp. Most homeowners don't know what they are getting into whenever they decide to buy a pool. And the Pool guy that showed up must have been a fly by night company. No one in their right mind would add enough chemicals to destroy a pool it's liner and heat pump.
If I had to take a guess he poured straight chlorine or put tabs in the skimmers. This is the best way to corrode your pump impeller and any other type of metal this super chlorinated liquid goes through. If you go into the pump room and everything has rust on it. walk away as fast as you can. Thats what happens when ammonia and to low of a level of chlorine are present in the pool. It cause chlorine gas (exactly like when you mix chlorox and ammonia!!!!!!!!!)
(WARNING DO NOT TRY MIXING THOSE TWO CHEMICAL TOGETHER!!!!!!!!! for anyone with a wild hair.)
