Another thought here.
Suppose you placed the 20 pound propane bottle IN the water. As you used propane, the bottle would absorb heat and enhance the process.
They would only have to keep a few lights on depending on the insulating values of the refrigerator walls.I visit http://www.fuel-saver.org
