Unico system
Hello, has anyone had this experiance.
A Unico System with a Highcool Heat pump.
Problem! All wires from hard wired control panel via unico unit disconnected at outdoor unit, so, no communication from indoor to outdoor so it should be switched off.
But, outdoor continues to run???? from approx. 42psi on Suction side until the pressure drops to approx 17psi then the compressor cuts out pressure slowly rises, compressor starts.
This continues none stop.
Has anyone experianced anything like this??????

Re: Unico system
Unico controllers usually work on 24v signal - is this compatible with youre hi cool unit??
without the unico fan running the system will produce low pressure symptoms
does the system have a pump down solenoid is it letting by??
what size expansion valve have you fitted to unico coil (or is it a chilled water version)
has the system been commissioned properly??

Re: Unico system
This system works in cooling and heating modes, it just continues to operate after you switch the system off
