Help with fault on Daewoo ERF 334.M.LC Fridge Freezer
Hi there all!
Any advice please would be appreciated.
fridge compartment on an upright Daewoo Fridge Freezer is not chilling. Fridge bulb lights.
Freezer chills but is on all the time!
Unit is in a kitchen which is obviously hot sometimes
but cool when not in use!
Am I right in thinking that it is not the stat and that it is as drastic and terminal as loss of refrigerant??
Or is it something alot simpler??
I admit to not being a Refrigeration Engineer
But have a keen interest instilled from my RAF days
as a General Technician working with Aircraft air cooling trolleys and ***** 12 systems would you believe!!

Yes it is m8!
It's a NOFROST
Actually I,ve stripped out the Freezer Compartment
back panels and found the evaporator coils to be
seriously iced up and blocking the ducting opening which leads to the Fridge Compartment.
Have defrosted and all appears OK!
Suspect my problems could have started when we had a lenghty power cut during the recent storms!!
But don't fully understand why!
Thanx for your response though!!

Could be that you had a partial defrost which then refroze in and around the air duct.
