Mr Saw, ring the supplying dealers technical man. I use Mr Kanning at Thermofrost, London.

Re: LG fault codes............
The list of fault codes and their meanings is on a sticker on the drop down flap of the hard wire control panel. Im afraid that I cant remember the codes, and they are not listed in the installation guide, but I think that code 4 is high water level in the condensate tray.
Although we gave Mr Millennium a hard time, I noticed that B&Q were quite happily selling electrical supplies with no warning about Part P, so when I have time I shall raise this issue with them, though I know what the response will be....Sorry mate, I only work here in my school holidays.Karl

Re: LG fault codes............
CH01 indoor room temp thermistor
CH02 Indoor pipe temp thermistor
CH04 Communication error
CH04 Water level float switch.
If the error is not one of these, and it is one of the flashing light things. You will have to call technical support.

Re: LG fault codes............
Karl, B&Q's answer to your question is "We are a BIY (buy it yourself) store aswell as a DIY store". This covers them with regard to part p and corgi regulations. As long as there are warnings plastered all over the packaging, everthing is Okeydokey.
I think i will re-train as a barrister, yep, i'm good at defending people.

Re: LG fault codes............
Yeh, I've read all about them being BIY now, and their gas stuff does have information about needing a CORGI engineer, but I have seen nothing about part P yet.

Re: LG fault codes............
Try this site for links to manufacturers -
http://www.plumbingafrica.co.za/ra_xara_links_test.asp
also http://www.unionaire.co.za/ they may be able to provide some details.
I can only find Climatron in the USA and their site isn't very helpful.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: LG fault codes............
I haven't got anything for au models either.
It would help if you gave a model number or type of a/c (ducted, cassette etc) also what the unit was doing, ie nothing runs, something runs after a power reset until the time delay kicks in (voltages and current when it tries), everything runs fine for a while then cuts out (and if that was the case, all the temps and pressures).
