Samsung French Door
I'm having issues with our Samsung RF24FSEDBSR fridge freezer.
Does anyone have a service manual for this model that they could send over please?
Looking on the net I can only locate the user manual which is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard
Seems like this model has inbuilt problems and there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung in the States.
Thanks in advance

Samsung has the worst reputation at my hot end.
LG is my favorite, not Chinese, runs on R-134a.

Re: Samsung French Door
Had to strip down the Fridge section again at the weekend to carry out a manual defrost with the trusty hairdryer - (well, I don't need it any more for my head ).
Found that the inline thermal fuse had blown again, preventing the defrost heater from being powered up.
I find it strange that the thermal fuse is rated at 5A, has a circuit fail temp of +73C and it is the second one to go open circuit. I can't imagine that the top section of the evap where the fuse holder is attached has reached +73C or that the fuse has overheated so much. The defrost heater is rated at 120W and pulls 0.54A.
Anyone have any suggestions on an alternative failsafe to replace the inline thermal fuse?Last edited by frank; 21-01-2020 at 12:41 PM.

Re: Samsung French Door
Thanks Twisty. I considered that option of the termination sensor and have a replacement on order. Apparently 2 week lead time.
