cabinet door seals
Hi just changed some seals on a double door commercial cabinet had to have them tailor made as this thing had no id numbers,they are the magnetic type the problem I have one door is fine it holds shut the other appears to be weak? any pointers to what may be the problem the doors are approx one metre x point three.

Is the door frame parallel to the cabinet? this can cause the problem.

have you tried heating them up with a hairdryer and pulling them out to stretch themout

Seem to remember reading that it can take a while for the magnets to work in door seals, maybe the old one was the opposite way round with regard to the north and south poles, I had one do the same and not really hold the door shut, think we propped it shut with a 20L oil drum overnight and i never heard back so assume all was ok the next day.

are the doors spring loaded, maybe increase tension to help compress the seal
foster always send out door gaskets folded up so theyre crap when u fit em

They can take time to bed in, i tell customers up to a week and they must firmly push doors closed, magnets seem to be weaker on replacements
