Re: Samsung codes anyone please
I am new to these units, but recently installed an aqv24j.The codes in the manual were not the correct ones, and after several calls to tech support, one of them finally told me this and gave me the correct ones.the unit seems to perform very well, but with my problems, and what Ive read on this website about code problems,I won't be installing another one.

Re: Samsung codes anyone please
Just a continued thought from my previous post, would the code for a SC24TA1 work?
What happens if I try and its the wrong code?
What does the last digit mean (1 instead of 8)?
I cant find any technical spec on the SC24TA1.

Re: Samsung codes anyone please
Thanks to all the samsung experts out there, we really appreciate you helping us with our "comfort" issues.
i bring to you this error code E154 which appears to be a fan related error, the thing is though that previous service repaiman left no service report to owner and all i know by owners words is that they replaced the temperature sensor and repaired a broken condensate pan for the evaporator of a samsung split model AQ12MWBBM, so the next thing i did was keep pressed the evaporator ON button for 3 secs and got this reading from the temp display: Sec1-26, Sec2-17, Sec3-C2, Sec4-G/6:B/8.
or 2617C268. what do those numbers mean?
thanks for taking the time to read my post.
best regards
Frostedflake
P.S. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Re: Samsung codes anyone please
I need help with the codes too! But the model I have I can not find it anywhere. My indoor unit is AM26B1(B2)B13 and there is nowhere in this post from nike123
Samsung option codes!
http://www.mtf-online.net/public/Optioncodes_2008.pdf
I am in Mexico, and I do not know if there are a different set of codes, but what I do see is tha in the same owners manual there are a lot of model numbers including MC18AC2-09, MC19AC2-07 and four others that in fact are in nike123's post.
My question is, Can I use one of these codes instead? There are 4 different codes.
Thanks for your help.
I am a new member and I find this forum as an excellent choice for people who wants to learn as well as for people who don't mind sharing their knowlegde because in time they will need help too.

Re: Samsung codes anyone please
Hi guys - Could anyone offer a little advise regarding a Samsung AQVO9MSAM. I've had a similar problem to most on here regarding the option code. Being a little stupid ...!, I put the wrong code into my unit, would anybody know how you can reset the unit so i can put the correct code in. Also, as an aside, why do you have to put the code in once there has been a power failiure. Thanks
