Carrier Vector 1800 reset HM
Hi.
I had come Carrier Vector 1800 with error 223 about need maintenance for disel.
After our company did maintenance fully I had try delete this error with reefermanager.
In tab "Monitor and Override operations" if I press btn "Microprocessor monitor" on end tab I can see 'Hours to disel Maintenance" = 0. How I can add to this setting additional hours? If I can, error 223 not to be in future. I can't find in Microprocessor setup this setting for change.
Sorry for my English

Right name of counter "Hours to Engine Maintenance" tab "Hours/cycles".

Re: Carrier Vector 1800 reset HM
Open the Reefer Manager help file (big blue icon) and type in "change hours".
This will guide you through what you are trying to do.
It is located in the "Carrier" sub-directory, in the "Program Files" directory in the C:/ root directory.

Re: Carrier Vector 1800 reset HM
Thank you for answer. I had read help to reefermanager in PDF and HLP. No information about this hourmeter. I have problem only with this hourmeter.
Usually after we do Mainentance I add hour is HM1, or HM 2,3,4,5. But I never had work with this counter. HM numeric (0-5) on 0. I can add to numeric hourmeter, but can't in "Hours to Engine Maintenance".

Re: Carrier Vector 1800 reset HM
On vector You change hours: Serial operations/Microprocessor setup/configuration - scroll down/diesel reset value.
Some times You have to send zero first and only then 1500hrs. If You send 1500hrs only - the microprocessor does not reset - don't know why.
Best regards, Edvin.

Re: Carrier Vector 1800 reset HM
Guys; problems with Vector controllers is not uncommon.
The same controllers are used in Ultima and Ultra units as well.
If there is a problem with the controller, I've found the guys at Seamark in Netherlands really good and reasonably priced.
