P&M concentric flareblock
hi guy's
just to let you know that I bought one of these a few months ago and the pin at the end of the block fell out.
I emailed the company and asked if it was possible to get a replacement
next day a reply arrived asking for my address and 10 days later 3 pins arrived !!!
what fantastic service and a big thanks to michelle the MD

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
Hi Richard.
Indeed good service.
You should have bought RIDGID and save the pins.
Why do you think they keep spare pins???

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
no chemi
i think you're doing them a great diservice
they 'keep' spare pins because they manufacturer them!!
basically I'm really happy with the flare block AND my new pins
cheers

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
Thats fine Richard.
I know the make and I think they're good.
I have the same by Ridgid 24 years old, used almost daily.
Never lost a pin.

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
chemi
get one of the new concentric type flareers
they are in a differnet league to the old imperial eastman type
honestly it'll be the best investment you've made in a long time..
cheers

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
Welcom to the world Richard
Ridgid was making concentric type flaring tools at least 25 years now and that exactly the tool I use.

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
well this is interesting
i have been around this game since 83 and not seen one of these since to '00's not one engineer used one, company issued them or catalogue (D&W HRP NRS et al) listed such a device either
are you sure it's a concentric with a eccentric cone??

Re: P&M concentric flareblock
That's the one I use since years
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
