testing for leaks
this is probably a real dumb question but i have a walk in freezer r-12 that is losing its charge. it must be small but what is the expert out theres procedure to make it safe for diy?

In first looking for find leak in system , the area has leaks % 99 is greasy and oily .
If the compressor is open type should be good look for sealing.
