Reducer Duct Area
can any one tell how to calculate the area of the reducer piece on machine jonining.

I'm, sorry Senthil but I do not understand your question.

Thanks for ur reply brain , I explain u
Duct Size : 26" x 12"
When the above duct connected to the mouth of the machine , with a size of 30" x 12 " , one reducer arise in between machine mouth and the duct.
I need to know the area of this reducer , one side
30" x 12" and another side 26" x 12"

calculate the perimeter length of both ends.
average the perimeter
multiply by the length from c/c

What is it you are trying to calculate?
Reading your previous post you already got the sizes fixed.
The smallest area of your reducer will be the same as the duct 26"x12"=312 square inches.
Or are you after the losses in the ductwork?
