daikin controllers
Can anybody out there know how to remove the host simple on the controller,the system has 4 indoor units any help would be grateful.

Can you explain what the 'Host Simple' is?

its the symbol that shows that the systems are centrally controlled

You will have to find the KRP board attached to the system. Cut all power to the system, turn the little blue dial to '0' and then re-power up. Simple.

or you may have a two pipe system and one of your four indoors will be the
"master" ie this unit decides what mode the outdoor unit will run in and thus meaning you cant change it on the other 3, if this is the case you will always need a "master", you can wire a cable from the outdoor unit and have a heat/cool selector switch, or if you have a spare control there is a slightly easier way of making a heat/cool switch using the control, any how you will always see the "mitsi" symbol as we call it.Last edited by SkyWalker; 26-09-2008 at 11:46 PM.
