What is the best and optimal Refrigerant for replacing R134a?

why are you replacing it?
you could use r409a which is an R12 drop-in, it will run on snythetic and mineral oils

Don't use R409 it contains R22 which is on its way out.
Why do you want to repace R134a?

Would go with r413a just incase you come across old r12 systems.

Best match is R413A which can be used long term. is designed for mineral oil but works well with polyolesters etc and has fairly similar characteristics but with a generally lower charge weight.Your local isceon supplier can give you the full data the trade nane is isceom M049
