    Eutectic Auto fridge

Gday, I;ve got a question about a 73lt auto fridge. The instructions state that the fridge will cut out operation when the voltage drops below 12volts. Indicating by a 4 second flash of the red light behind the thermstate controler. My fridge is voltage faulting when my battery voltage drops below 13volts which is when I turn off the 240v supply to the charging circuit of the camper trailer. Is there an adjustable resister in the fridge to adjust?? Any help will be appreciated...Thanks

    Hello Rob
Most fridges suffer from the electical cable being too small or connectors heating up & not doing the job. You didn't say whether you checked the voltage actually at the fridge controller terminals.
The std voltage cut outs for the Danfoss 12v compressor fridge is 10.4 v & can be altered with a different resistor at R2 in the control circuit.
I don't think I would go any lower than this as you will murder the battery & it will cause long term damage.
    Hope this helps - Leigh
