Ebay
I won an auction for a watch from a seller in Vegas, which was alledgedly a jewelry shop. He didn't have a Paypal account & I wasn't happy about giving my credit card details to his 'secure on-line payment facility'. The guy told me that his partner was English & that I could send a cheque to her parent's house in Yorkshire. I was reasonably happy with that & so I was going to post it this morning when luckily I logged on to the computer first & found that I'd got an E-mail from Ebay. They said that the seller's trading privilages had been suspended & under no circumstances to continue with the transaction outside of Ebay. Close call or what
If a seller does not have a Paypal account be VERY wary as it's a quick & easy account to set up & also you're covered up to £500 if it all goes tits up.Last edited by phil68; 26-02-2006 at 07:37 PM.
Noah had to leave the dinosaurs behind as they would've sunk the boat.
