    hi guys
    is there a sure way to diagnose a ptc start devise fault or compressor dont want to waste time ordering ptc start device only to find compressor faulty windings in compressor check out ok

    Change it out. I hate Ptc devises. Try a start assist with potential relay like the K-01. Some of the older ones over here are just useless and go out very often. Does it resemble something like this?
