Commissioning City Multi
We are commissioning a PUY series City Multi. Normally we woud use the auto address function but the spec dictates that CMFRTTCB interface boards are installed.
According to the tech manual the auto address function does not work when using these boards and they should be manually addressed but it does not expand on the manual address procedure.
Do you simply address the fan coils by using the 2 rotary switches or is it more complicated than this?

Re: Commissioning City Multi
Well that depends! Outdoor should be 51. First indoor 001 and remote controller to that indoor 101, second 002 and RC 102 and so on. BC controller 52, but you're not using one.
Setting is indeed with the rotary switches. Look close at which is the ten's and which the second digit.
If you need any more, I have a service handbook!

Re: Commissioning City Multi
Thanks for the feedback.
With regards to interface cards do they need an external power supply. The supplied literature is a bit vague.
Thanks

Re: Commissioning City Multi
If by interface cards you mean the printed circuit boards on the indoor units, then yes you'll have to supply them with 240V. The connection is next to the communication terminals!

Re: Commissioning City Multi
I'm not familair with the CMFRT BMS, but if it's like a LMap, then I gues it needs it's own supply.
