Working on top of fridges
Anyone any ideas for safe working on top on cases in supermarkets or practicies they have in place for doing this.

Hi
On daily service calls we still use ladders on install work we use scaffolding.Theres no problem with using ladders and when on top of the case I normally crawl.

I just climb up the stack of promotions at one end and walk along the tops. (I always hope they have nice solid items on promotions so its easy to climb up)
p.s. I accidentally knocked over 12 boxes of bottled lager a few months ago....LOL
Manager not impressed, until as they were stacking new ones back up the whole lot smashed again on its own..... I told them it wasn't safe.
