Cars do not usually have 12v air conditioners they use an engine driven compressor, far easier and more efficient.

We had a debate on this subject about 3 or 4 months ago and the guy asking threw his teddy out of his cot when he got answers he did not like.
Basicaly Car air cond works better when it is powered direct from the engin than from the elecrical supplies in the car.
There are not many 12v comps on the market that would be suitable to do the job you require.
I think the nearest advice he got that he liked was
to use a 110v or 240v system on an inverter running from an upgraded alternator.
