    George Barker 6ft Integrals

    Hi All,

Anyone else had temp problems with these things

Cant remember the model numbers but they are a twin compressor integral J6220 pots on 404 with cap tubes on each system.
Very strange design 2" gap between rear of case and back panel. Back sealed and i assume the design plan was that high wattage fan motors would pull the air through the coil, through 90 degrees at the back of the case and discharge the hot air out of the top. trouble is it doesnt work that well. Not too much heat coming out the top and systems cooking and blowing pots all the time with the unit running high temp 7-9 degrees. Remove the bottom back panel that covers the compressors and massive amounts of heat coming out, leave that panel off fridge runs at temp.

Personally i thing it needs another fan at the bottom of the panel to force to hot air out, but obviously they have been designed without so SHOULD be ok.

All other checks fine, coils clear, gas levels OK

    Anyone know anything

    Regards

    Raymond
