r12-r413a conversion
I am working on a 1991 nissan skyline r32 gtr air-conditioning system and has no refrigeration plate. I know it is r12 and been told (from another post)use r413a. Does anyone know how much to weigh in or what sort of pressures and temps i am looking for?
Also does anyone know the refrigeration charge for a nissan skyline r33 gtr. I know it is r134a.
Do all jap imports have no refrigeration plates?

Re: r12-r413a conversion
Hi
I don't really work on aircon's car but if you're sure of the new refrigerant follow that:
1/ find on the web the compressor. Help yourself with the nameplate
2/ check if the compressor oil has to be changed from mineral to POE.
3/ check once again what kind of refrigerant the compressor could admit (possible r134a when changing oil )
4/ after vaccuming put first 0.3 to 0.5 kg max
5/ after don't care about pressure but work with temperature, it's better in this case ( of course you need the curve of you refrigerant )
6/ at last try to work as well on LP but slighty lower than an usual airconditionner i.e from -7 to 0°c max when you tend to the maximum fresh air.
It's not my area but i hope this will help
