Cool Denco Happel GLAC 2035 CD1

I am reposting this massage about working on a denco happel GLAC 2035 CD1 water chiller . i am having the same issue.( as Doorswing / Frank)
The chiller works ok but after reaching set point the temp probe reads 8c then within 5 min reaches 11c resulting in the compressor starting again. The trouble is it alarms out on too many compressor starts up/ hour and locks out.
I have codes 1234 and 9990 which allow access into the user menu but i cannot find anywhere to delay start, broaden the proportional bands or use compressor last in first out.
There is another level which is the manufactures menu i could check but its 10 digit, does anyone know this password ?
    can anyone help please.

Hi Acsgb others will have more knowledge of your particular chiller than me. But historically when a chiller was short cycling like you describe. I would confirm the delta T between the water in and out. ie the temperature diff between the 2. Again its a pure guess without more info, but I would suspect poor water flow through the chiller. Are there any strainers in the water circuit. Also it may be worth looking at the water pressure diff. These these are basic general questions and you may be way ahead of me. Hopefully Others may help you? Grizzly

    Hi Grizzly,
thanks for you feed back,i have checked the strainer, the delta T is around 3 deg C, looking at the display on the controller, but it seems to rise very quickley from switching off at 8 deg C - to switching back on at 11 deg C, hence i need the password to interrogate the controller in more details.
    password required.
    thanks

Maybe try contacting the forum member Gideon Beddows, his name seems to come up alot when people are asking about Denco stuff.
