its my first time be gental please! i have been working on a
semi perment trailer which has a small fujitsu a/c installed AOY25 all is well when im on site but intermittently it trips the breaker 25a d rated rcd, the supply comes from a 75a diesal genarater 225v checked cappy all ok start amps around 60a peak hold on amp clamp, wondered if genny has to much load but why would that trip my a/c breaker?

Re: fujitsu a/c running off generator

Hi, welcome, yes the start load could trip things as the voltage will drop and the amperage will rise to compensate.

Re: fujitsu a/c running off generator

hi just an update, checked over today and the genny voltage is very unstable we are going to get a contractor to check the genny and report back i have also learned that the a/c has never tripped on a land power supply, worth knowing.

    cheers
