    Electronics acronym

Wondering what the TRE and APM acronyms mean in electronics when looking at transistors?

Example of a 2N3819 transistor with different ordering options https://www.mouser.co.uk/c/?q=2n3819

I'm gona guess its post-manufacturing cleaning options?

    Re: Electronics acronym

They are NOT semiconductor terminology in the past 50 years.

The 2SClA/B/Cxxxx is std Japanese numbering from the 1970s.

Someone at Mouser is making something up. TRC may mean " tape and reel put- up"

A SERIOUS lack of industry knowlege haunts these distributors these days that didnt exist 20 years ago. US Digi Key was the unparalelled best until 10 years ago, now they are so bad I stopped buying from them. Dumpster Fire.
