Here's a link to the data sheet for the Danfoss KP switches. Part numbers start on page 8. Hope this helps...

The KP5 with the cutting ring is for ammonia application and is called the KP5A.

There's a reason my wife calls me quickie you know

The KP 7ABS can also be found with the 6mm ermeto connection
    https://store.danfoss.com/sg/en/Clim...S/p/060-501366

we use these on ammonia compressors where the class agency requires dual mechanical HP cut out, instead of using two separate KP5A's.

The trick is to remember which of the scales use the green outside reset button and the secret hidden inside reset button

you can get both types with 6mm ermeto fittings, or the flat connection that fits the Danfoss instrument tubes.

I see that the guys that are purchasing for me have a log in to danfoss store and they can search by the danfoss numbers and even if they are not found on the webpage, they can still find it in the store, very nifty.

    Hi Tyco.
I must admit that your comment about the secret internal reset button made me smile. I must admit that I have been caught out by it more than once.
Especially when a fast H.P reset is necessary and the HP alarms are going off in the plant room Etc.
I seem to remember the old collective set of Instructions from Danfoss went digital ages ago. But the old Hard / softback versions are still handy. If only to be told " That is an old code sir! it has been superseded by****. may still have mine if anyone is interested?

I must be 20 years ago now, I had a colleague spend hours on the phone trying to diagnose a faulty HP switch and I heard him say numerous times "have you taken the cover off and pushed the reset button that is inside?"

At 3 pm he had to get in the car and drive 4 hours to where the ship was, took the cover off, pushed the reset and voila, everything was ok.

The chief engineer was a bit embarrassed and told him "replace it anyway, because it had been acting up a bit lately" ho-hum
Being a safety device, no service valves.

System was R-22, and back then we didn't even have recover units, so he could have just purged to air and been done with it, but he started the 2nd compressor to evacuate the 1st, and spent 4-5 hours replacing the pressure switch before he drove home.

Ah, the Danfoss bible I lost my hardcover one when I scrapped my old van many moons ago, I had it wedged behind the passenger seat so I could easily reach it from the driver side and forgot to take it out when I left the car at the scrapper :/

I don't think they have even an online version of the "collection of instructions" any more, but I have the 2009 version in .pdf uploaded here:
    https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...usp=share_link
It's very useful for finding older information, on the webpage they seem to only have the last version of things, and if you download the PDF looking for something specific it's a huge file containing the entire range of that product.

That's why I keep the collection of instructions on my drive, so I can access it from my phone from anywhere

Someone in Germany is selling one on e-bay for €1.2
