Hi,

I am getting used to my Mitsubishi wall-mount mini splits this winter. I have noticed that when I have the fan speed on high or super high (to circulate the air around the house effectively) the compressor does not seem to be able to modulate down enough (or won't do it) to prevent short cycling. It seems like it would rather keep running at a higher than required compressor speed unless I put it into auto fan mode. However, in auto fan mode the unit has very anemic fan speeds most of the time and won't heat well. Is it trying to keep the output air from the head a certain temperature even if it means short cycling?
