Question Ammonia Receiver temperature is increasing

We have recently commissioned our new refrigeration plant. It is working fine the only problem is when we open the Equalizer line valve connecting the evaporative condenser and receivers, the receiver temperature increases.
We have 2 nos of receivers and 3 nos of evaporative condensers.

Re: Ammonia Receiver temperature is increasing

Have you considered that this may be exactly what should happen?
With the Equalizer line closed the Condenser may be filling with Refrigerant and Sub Cooling the liquid.

    Increasing to what temperature?
    And at what discharge/condenser/receiver pressure?
Is it all of the receiver that warms up, or just the top where the vapour is?
Are the two receivers warming up to the same temperature, or just one?
