rotary compressor efficiency test
Hello, can any one tell me if its possible to do a normal compressor efficiency test on a rotary compressor ie run with closed suction to check pumping performance. System is a hot water heat pump approx ten years old, havent had much to do with these things but suction seems a bit high and it runs longer than i would have expected.
Anyone help appreciated
Its a rheem system if that helps

Re: rotary compressor efficiency test
Thanks for getting back, havent had much to do with these but suc pressure seems high (15 degrees 56 psi r134a) and seems to run for a long time. Its about ten years old and wondered if compressor worn as they must do big hours and must also run a decent head pressure as water temp is plus sixty degrees. Also air on evap to air off is only 4-5 degrees
Rheem Model no is 55132507/05
