    Refrigerant retrofit and central unit

I have an old our 22 with mineral heat pump Goodman unit sitting in my garage that I was going to use and it just to cool from time to time while working in it. The price of refrigerant has skyrocketed. If I needed to convert it to something affordable is there a way to make our 130 for a work? Like I said this is not my living space at an area where I work on projects. It’s insulated has no windows and is 30 x 30 with 10 feet ceilings. I was planning on using 407C until I saw how much the price has gone up on it. Any advice is appreciated

Unfortunately, R407c is not considered a drop in replacement for R22.
The oils are different and, as you say, the price of gas has gone through the roof.

You would be better off looking at a replacement unit rather than replacement refrigerant
