    Emerson a/c not operating



    I have a split a/c, Emerson make on a Type E Hiromatic controller.

    Currently it is not operating, when the START button is pressed it says:

    ON/OFF BY HIROMATIC NOT ENABLED.

    Unit eventually faults (flashing red light) with:

    UNIT 1 disconnected

    Indoor PCB lights are lit, and do not change, if in fault or not. Unit is not connected to any BMS system.

    Any advice on how to get running/operating would be very great full, as yet have not been able to get any technical advice on the unit!

    Do you have the Powerface Hiromatic E manual?
