R290- Brownish sticky residue in dryer, beads stuck together?

Hey Guys, I recently fitted a new evaporator on a Atosa 2 Dr bench freezer! Hot gas defrost Easy diagnosis some idiot KP had stabbed through the loops defrosting it...anyway I removed the drier and cut it open to find the beads stuck together with a browny red sticky substance...never seen this...any ideas?

Has it had a leak detection dye injected into it?
