    Replacing the evaporator

I have an old Vitrifrigo box unit (BN100BT) that is built into the cupboard on my boat. I cannot get access to the box without breaking the cupboard apart (the compressor (Danfoss BD35F 59W) is easily accessible). I seem to have a leak somewhere in the existing evaporator and want to replace it with a plate unit that I can install inside the box, something like the https://www.vitrifrigo.com/ww/en/pt4_flat_evaporator. I know very little about refrigeration; would it be easy enough for me to connect this to my existing compressor? Should I be looking at an evaporator with quick couplings or just standard? Do I need to replace my compressor as well (The PT4 plate is compatible with my existing compressor according to Vitrifrigo documentation).

Any advice on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

With regard to the quick couplers it all depends on whether your existing unit has them or not.
