    Walk in Freezer

I have a walk-in freezer that will not automatically restart after a power cut.

When power is restored, the compressors 3 mins delay light blinks, however it does not start automatically. I have to press the start button manually.

What could possible be the fault.

    has it always done that?

it sounds like that's how it's designed to work

    Re: Walk in Freezer

It has not always done that and wasn’t designed that way.

It has always restarted itself automatically after a power cut.

Eg If the unit was operating (refrigerating) and i get a power cut, when power is restored, the delay blinks for 3 mins after power is restored, the the freezer resumes refrigeration.

However, now i have to physically go to the unit and press the start button for it to resume refrigeration, when power is restored.

And YES, we are getting lots of power cuts recently.

Has anyone been messing around with the controllers parameters? maybe theres one for auto restart after power loss.

Maybe the controllers relay is just on its way out.
