McQuay WSC chiller

Dear friends:
I have problem with McQuay centrifugal chiller model : WSC-050 , when operating the chiller the oil pump starts pre lubricating for three minutes then compressor runs for about three seconds ,the oil pressure drop rapidly and the chiller shut down at unsafe oil differential, after replacing oil filter and operating chiller again the same phenomena was repeated, please help me to solve this problem .

When was the last strip down service?
The oil sump inlet has a strainer inlet which can get clogged...this needs to be cleaned to ensure that the oil pump is not starved

1. Check oil level in the unit
2. Check pump if its operating ok
3. Check if there is an oil pressure regulator it may be faulty

Many thanks for frank and mmandaza , the reason was faulty bearings the compressor had abnormal sound after I disassembled it was clear that bearing were malfunction. Thanks
