Electric Driven 24V Compressor Request
Hi guys,
I take a battery cooling project from a company that makes electric buses and I need a 24V DC electric driven compressor. Have you ever seen a compressor with a capacity of 5kW at ET: +5*C CT+50*C conditions?Last edited by froxian; 15-06-2021 at 09:48 AM.

The ones used in hybrid and electric cars tend to be 48v 3-phase inverter controlled versions.
I'm sure that with some good electronic inverter controls you can select a compressor that is not
exactly 24v but is a 3-phase inverter controlled one of any voltage. I might be wrong but most car
battery configurations produce 100's of volts and these are regulated down using complex electronics.
So maybe it's not the compressor that you might want to worry about but the electronics controlling it?
