as I understand it is not same discharge end clearance for high stage and booster compressor?

AKI,
0.05 to 0.07 mm high side
0.33 to 0.35 mm booster.
If you run booster with high side clearance probably no issues, they do it to keep noise down.
Have many running booster with high side clearance.
