Master Cella controller problem

New here, coming with very strange problem:
On Master Cella programmer temperature display works fine until defrost starts, then temp display remains (-22) despite rising temp in the chamber. Only switching off and back on complete controller brings the real temp value and controller starts working again.
Any ideas or hints ?

Have a look at the controllers parameter settings, there may be one for what is displayed during defrost. It will probably be set to display the temperature the chamber was at before the defrost started, and then only show the real chamber temperature once defrost has finished and the chamber has got back down to the set point.

thx for your reply seanf. I was not clear in my initial post - defrost ends up but system does not restart cooling afterwards. only hard reset brings all back to normal functioning until next programmed defrost cycle

I would be making sure all the controllers parameters are set to something suitable to the application, including the drip down time/delay of start up after defrost parameter, making sure nobody has been playing around with the settings. After that I guess you would make sure it is the controller that is the problem, checking there is no output to the compressor/liquid solenoid after the defrost and drip down has finished.

Hi There,
the problem is Parameter d6 is set to Lock the temperature when defrosts,
Press "set"for 5 Sec and go to Parameter "d6 Terminal display during defrost" and Set it to "0" as 0 = Temperature alternating with dEF

The default for d6 is "1 = Display disabled"

The display doesnt start to record the actual room temp after defrost until set point is reached.
