Daikin Piping Layout Confirmation and BS Box Count
Unit is a RWEYQ72PCTJ with three AHUs and one BS Box. This was my first commission with a heat recovery Daikin and received a UF error. I suspect the system may be piped incorrectly and attached some layout diagrams. Anyone confirm?
Also, I was able to count the number of AHUs and 3 were confirmed via the LEDs. When I entered the mode to count the BS Box, the LEDs showed 3 boxes when only one is installed. Very odd as HP7 should only be illuminated. Bug perhaps?

Re: Daikin Piping Layout Confirmation and BS Box Count
Error UF comes up as Indoor Unit failed to get address from Outdoor Unit.
Sounds like a wiring issue rather than a piping issue.

Re: Daikin Piping Layout Confirmation and BS Box Count
When all of the equipment is turned on, Daikin finishes the addressing procedure when the HP2 LED goes out, right? I was able to initiate the first test run but it obviously failed.

Re: Daikin Piping Layout Confirmation and BS Box Count
If the outdoor unit cannot 'handshake' the indoor unit then that is due to a lack of communication. This could be caused by a lack of power supply to the indoor unit, a fault in the F1 F2 wiring or failed indoor pcb.
A piping error would show up when the initial 'Test' run is carried out.
The initial addressing proceedure will only address indoor units the outdoor can 'see'.
