Sabroe SMC 108LL MK4

[RANGER1]

Anyone can offer advice on servicing this compressor.
Has external oil filter, which is replaced if differential pressure high etc.
In compressor sump is oil pump strainer 100um, is it cleanable, or throw away?
Manual suggesting with LL (long life) 10-15000 hours before overhaul on ammonia duty.
Any experiences?
This is on small new system direct drive, VSD

I made a lot of this. Every one with VSD.
Do not wait high diff. pressure on oil filter.
Change once a year , if need often.
I usually change oil filter inside comp. on service "C".
If comp. running in "NORMAL" condition -10,+35 or booster I made annual service once a year.
Other service made every 10000 hours because its over 1500 rpm.
This way "A","A","A","C".
If you have HEATPUMP unit also every 10000 hours.
But "A","B","A","C".

Can you clarify when valve plates should be changed on LL if running 1460rpm

I forget also change coalescer filter every 10000 hours , to reduce oil loose.

Could you pass email on any documents on what ABC etc is.
Any information on when to change valve plates , piston rings etc.

RANGER1 in all of this sets A,B,C, always change ring plates.
I send you doc. and part no. this sets.

Also if you have VSD(like you sad" comp. running between 1500 and 1700 rpm, not 1460.
