Honda AC refrigerant?
Hello, I bought a donar 2001 civic for the engine. Im aware that it's a $32k fine and a felony charge to cut ac lines and let it leak. My question is, if the previous owner states the ac never worked for the 8 months he owned it, does that mean there isnt refrigerant? Like is it then okay to cut them? Or will they still hold some and I should get it reclaimed?
My plan is to scrap the shell as it's rusty, but do I need to empty the ac system if im giving it to a scrap yard?
