Refrigeration pipe system calculator software

I need your help, i are analized two software for calculate the entire pipe network in refrigeratión plants like supermarkets.

i see REF-PIPE https://ergo-psychtiki.gr/

And Micropipe from https://www.wave-whiterose.com/software/

Is anyone knows additional software to compare or any information for this softwares and others is useful for me.

Thanks for your time, but the problem with coolselector is wit that software you only can calculate a one line per time in a simple evaporator system, i need calculate a multi evaporator system, for the moment i make the calculation with coolselector line per line, but i see the others softwares can make the entire piping network calculation in multiple evaporator system.

Danfoss is for free, not sure if anyone else offers that.

We use coolstar. But its not a free software.

Even for multi evaporator calculation we have to input
values for each evaporator separately.


For me line per line is a good way to do a good job.
If your job is good ... few hours more you spent on
(calculating line per line) must not be a problem
for you. Good calculation is not F1 race ...


Many years ago without personal computers
(available only some Texas Instruments or HP calculators)
we manually calculate a lot of HVACR systems and some are still in use.


Many years later o Danfoss gave us DirCalc 1.1 and then 1.26 program

simple but good ... and much faster then calculators

Today, having a coolselector2 or CoolPack for free
(both programs are quite good, anyhow we must take care and
check all input values - but that we have to do with paid
software too) ... it is quite easy to make any calculation with
possible check ...
and of course there will be some small difference due to
different algorithms used in each software... but if we
know what we are doing that is not a problem ... I believe.

CoolSelector2 from Danfoss is your best free option, very good to make every detail. Also CoolPack very nice option.
