R32 Question
Does R32 is still safe to use in our air condition (AC)
does it truth that R-32 does not produce any chlorine byproduct ,which is responsible for depletion of our ozone layer.
What's your opinion ?

It does not produce phosgene gas when it burns, only chlorinated refrigerants do. However, it does break down into other nasty substances when it burns such as hydrogen fluoride and carbonyl fluoride, same as 410a or any other HFC refrigerant. When I bought my mini split heat pump a year ago I looked for an R32 unit because I really don't like 410a but they don't sell those here in America. If you are concerned about flammability I suggest doing some research on it, but the short answer is it's not very flammable. A spark won't ignite it, it's hard to get it to ignite and sustain a flame if you try to.
