DB35F start-up problem
I have a DB35F that is not working and traced it a open thermostat wire. To verify this I connect both wire together and the unit started-up. The ends of this wire was bare and tiwisted together and inadvertently touched the positive battery buss bar. There was a small spark and the unit quit. The unit would not start again. I don't know what to do next. This on a boat with a 12v system.
Help!

Re: DB35F start-up problem
It seems that you have broken the compressor controller.

Re: DB35F start-up problem
Logically.
search for a supplier and obtain a replacement.
Alternatively post a request for help on the American Refrigeration Forum.
As those closer to you may well be able to help further.
We on this forum, (Fridge Techs / Professionals) mainly are not from the Americas.
so are less equipped to advise sometimes.
