Wall mount height
I'm installing an MSZ-SF35VE wall mount, its main use will be heating an extension. Need at least 2.5kw heating, however the previous owner has only installed a 900w radiator.
So, I cant decide whether to mount the unit with the bottom of the unit at same height as the kitchen ceiling. Better for looks/unit out of way. (2.3m ffl)
OR with the top of the unit the same height as the ceiling. Better for heating? (2m ffl)
Will the unit 300mm lower be more efficient for heating (will push more warm air to the floor) or will I not notice the difference?
My theory is all the heat is just going to build up at the very top (3m ffl) anyway so either option will work just as good. All comments welcome!Last edited by Slim R410a; 21-11-2016 at 11:10 AM.

Re: Wall mount height
Line up with the kitchen ceiling, the fan will soon mix the air around.

Re: Wall mount height
mount the unit 50mm above the lowest part of the bulkhead- the mac 397 can be used on m series wall mounts, - cheaper option just cut the ret air thermistor and extend it to 1.4mtr high

Also: with people seated just below, higher would be better to avoid breeze of air over their heads/faces.
