We use various compressors dep on app. These vary from 2 - W6 pot recipricating units to small swash plate Sandon 5 cylinders and even Scroll units. Refrigerant is R12,R502,R22,404A,403B,FX56,MP66,R49,401B ETC.

Condensation is taken care of in the usual way being fed via a 3 way valve enabling either Hotgas to the evap for heat/defrost or to the condensor.

Liquid line is usual format however the reciever tank is pressurised on heat/defrost to remove liquid from the liquid side for use in the hotgas cycle.
TXV is normal but has bleed vents around the needle/orifice to aid on heat cycle.
Modulation/ drive load control is taken care of with a throttling valve or CPL or Stepped throttling valve (ETV)

Drive train is 26HP motor or 36HP diesel engine.
Full control is via proprietery PLC's, incorperating coms and logging hardware.

We run various multi compartment/multi temp invertable systems (very complex but effective).
