Broken seal in TXV

I have a problem with a TXV Alco used on a air to water heat pump. I have found the seal, on several machines, broken many times when on heat mode. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

I would say it's a combination of high heat and pressure.

is it suitable for the application and chosen refrigerant,could it be its for cooling only,not heard of that before but it does not like something,whats the seal made of??

Thanks for your answers guys. The valve is the original from the manafacturer as is the refridgerant. The seal is made of neoprene, if I'm not mistaken.
