    Carrier Window type compressor oil capacity



    The compressor was replace how much oil is needed for a 2.5HP R22 AC?? I also have 1 HP R22 that leak several times is it necessary to add oil? It's draining too much water but the air it's blowing is not cold enough. What could be the causing this problem?

    what is the ac full type and model number

    The new compressor had a full charge of oil in it, do not add more.

    Check that the refrigerant charge is correct.
