A/C Compressor power and speed
Hi
I intend to assembly a test bench to run a complete A/C air conditioning KIT.
How much should the power of the electric motor in HP motor to run the compressor ?
As it has a fixed speed, how many RPM should the motor spin ?

Is this for vehicle ac?
Have seen a motor run off a variable speed drive for doing this. No idea on size of motor.Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)

Depends on the power required to drive the compressor. Check with the compressor data plates and specifications.
