    City multi



    Trying to do an acid test on a Pury p250 yem-a city multi.anyone any idea how to get oil out without reclaiming gas.

    connect a gauge line (no manifold!) haha- carrier/hrp do an acid,moisture test kit you connect to the system and it vents gas for a few minutes- never tried them so cannot gaurentee the accuracy- city multi's have oil seps on so not easy to get a sample of oil

    Cheers.ye it's not looking good at least with a sanyo vrf there's a oil line port to take some oil from.

    Line tap valve on the oil line after solenoid on compressor side.

    Not sure about line tap valve they tend to leak after a while.

    Climate ctr sell a 2 second acid test that you put onto a schraeder valve. Never used one so cannot comment on its accuracy.
